Experts recommend that people should consume wholesome nutritious diets rich in a variety of vegetables and fruits. The study, which was published in the journal Neurology, found that the rate of decline was the slowest in people who consumed maximum number of green vegetables per day. Similarly, other studied have found that consuming food rich in omega-3 fatty acids, like salmon and tuna, and reducing the consumption of foods rich in saturated fats and cholesterol is also good for the health of the brain and prevents memory loss.
